Regular and Irregular Verbs

The past tense of a regular verb that ends in a vowel is created by adding a "d." To create the past tense of regular verb that ends in a consonant, add "ed." The past tense of an irregular verb does not follow a pattern. Different forms of irregular verbs must be memorized.
